Article Marketing for Cash

With article marketing ,you can either write great content or have the sales knowledge to publicize articles that you or others write. By becoming an affiliate for several companies article marketing may be a great way for you to generate a good income right from your own home. You can do this by receiving a certain percentage of the revenue of sales that the marketer gets from people who “click through” from your website via the company’s links that are placed on your pages.

Since you will be promoting a product or service, you will need a killer sales pitch and website content to get your readers interested in the product, convince them that they cannot live without the product, and to keep them coming back to your website time and time again for more recommendations and your worthwhile content , which will get them clicking on your links once again. Although many marketers only pay you commission from the first sale you make from each customer, you have the option of promoting only one time offers with a number of products so that you can still make a profit once or with recurring have it happen monthly again and again.

Article Marketing – Write and Profit

If you cannot write this kind of article on your own, there are many ways to pick up free or paid content to place on your affiliate website. There are many reasons in article marketing why paying for such articles would be to your advantage. First, you will be able to tell the writer exactly what you want, what product you are trying to sell, and what direction they can go in to keep your readers interested and informed. On the other hand, when you search for free content, you are limited to what is already out there. Secondly, you will own the copyright to this content if you purchase or write it. That means that no one else can reuse it without your consent. If you opt for free content, you will be sharing that content with an unknown amount of other affiliate websites, plus the original author will be able to place their byline at the bottom of the article which could result in them stealing your traffic. Writing or having your own content is the best plan as you will become familiar with the product you are promoting better than others. A good explanation on article marketing is found at Article Marketing – Experts Agree That This Strategy Works

Article Marketing Training

There are many fine products that have good affiliate commission rates for those who know how to promote their product and deliver click through customers who are ready to buy. As long as you choose to promote a product or service that can be very useful to a wide variety of people, then pre-selling your chosen company may not be that hard at all. The key in this situation will be in getting those customers to your website so that they have a chance to see your recommendations and click on your affiliate links.

If you want to excel in article marketing become an affiliate marketer one of the best ways is to take a little training from those that have made a business of actually doing it and have a demonstrated record of sales success. One of the best teachers that I know in the field
of writing articles for affiliate marketing is Connie Ragen Green. You should check out her new book Huge Profits with A Tiny List . Connie also offers training on affiliate marketing online at Online Writing Success . Article Marketing is one of the means that Connie continues to grow her income month after month, day in and day out.

SEO Tips- Linkbaiting- Great Articles Attract Links-Pt. One

1
Buffer

Content is King and Linkbait in the form of compelling content is one of the SEO tools that savvy web entrepreneurs use every day, not as their primary reason but as the offshoot of creating great content. I like to read Mashable everyday because it is generally chock-a-block with timely information on the Social Web. Take for instance Ben Parr’s excellent article on Google Wave, This is a post last updated in January 2010. Already, as I write this post, it has been retweeted on Twitter 6055 times, Shared on Facebook 2636 times and Buzzed 543 times.
On top of that 859 root domains link to this url and there are 3754 followed, non followed and 301 links to the article.

When you have a subject that is covered so completely by Ben people will find it useful and link to it also.

Another example is Aaron Wall’s SEO Book site. This would be considered an authority site by most SEO practioners and as such it brings credibility and linking power. The article How to Build Links Fast- 101 Tips and Strategies has 851 domains linking to it and 5008 followed,non-followed and 301 links. Going down the linking rabbithole leads me to Problogger where you will find a guest post by , in her own words, the adorkableWendy Piersall, The Ultimate Guide to Getting Lots of Link Love. Problogger is a very well read blog by Darren Rowse which has an Alexa ranking of 2076. This blog has an Alexa ranking of 909,739, respectable but not as widely read as Darren’s by a long shot. In that article there are a number of sites that are recommended on the subject of Linking.

It is like a spider web of totally relevant content. One link is to a site with another web of tools and links to useful information by Stuntdubl Search Marketing Consulting with their best posts on the subject. Another is Lyndon Antcliff’s blog CornwallSEO. This article or listing of articles is entitled Linkbait Articles- The Enormous Linkbait List. To discover the links that these sites have I have used the tool Open Site Explorer which has been of great help in the writing of this post. It is a free resource provided by the folks at SEOMoz.I hope this gives you a introduction to writing great content, that will be linked to and improve your SEO as a by product.

I will continue this post in two parts. This Part and Part Two which will give you some actionable, white hat tricks to improve your linking. Let me know in the comments what other liking items you want to have answers to.

Best Online Article Marketing Strategy – Promote New Ezines on Niche Subjects

2
Buffer

What’s the best online article marketing strategy? Let’s look at some secrets, tips, and information, that everybody who wants to be successful at ezine article marketing should be aware of.

Before you start writing your new ezines on your chosen subjects, you need to make sure you are ready to do so, if you like writing but you choose to write on a subject that you are not interested in, you are going to find it a lot more difficult. The same goes for writing about a topic you do not have knowledge on. So try to find a subject you are interested in and research those topics before you write about them.

Do you know how beneficial that title can be to you? It is what the reader see’s before they see the rest of your article. It goes without saying that the first impression is always the impression that counts. That title will be in big bold letters at the top of your article and you need to make sure it tells the reader what they will be benefiting from when they read the article.

We see many individuals that fail at this next step. Instead of “standing out from the crowd, ” they choose to go with what the crowd is doing. Today, a large portion of the crowd is writing articles on cooking, gardening, beauty and parenting, the internet is flooded with these kind of subjects, try to find something a little bit more niche.

Not only should your subject be a little bit niche, but it still needs to be about something there is a demand for, do your research before hand, try to find a subject that there is a demand for but relatively little supply, you can use a KEI (keyword effectiveness index) analysis to help you with this.

There are many article directories out there that we use daily. We recommend using ones such as buzzle, go articles, article dashboard, ezine articles and article alley. They are five of the most popular ones that are easy to use. Before you use them, you will need to create your own profile.

As you are writing the article, feel free to ask questions in the articles. Also, tell the readers that they are allowed to contact you with comments or questions regarding the content. This will cause them to want to connect with you and as you know, this is great for networking.

When you share information, you should keep it as simple as you possibly can. We know, you may think having those big words in that ezine article is great, but you should keep things simple so that everyone can understand it. For instance, instead of using the word “quaff, ” use the word “guzzle.” Why? Because there are some that will not understand you when you use “quaff, ” but when you use the word “guzzle, ” they will. Try to use langue that will be understandable by everyone.

Research as much as you can before you start, find the right topics, find the right keywords and follow these rules and your sure to find the best online article marketing strategy.

Article Marketing – Resource Box Tips – It’s Not About You!

0
Buffer

Resource boxes are the “get” for you when you are writing, submitting and using article marketing to meet your marketing ends. The “give” is your article on the subject of interest.

So why do so many marketers write like they are in school writing a book report and telling the teacher who THEY are?

You know the type: John Smith is a dog trainer who lives in Folsom, California, with his wife Amy, and 3 children Zack, Toby and Melissa. He is a dog trainer who has five dogs that he loves and has trained to do tricks.

That is just down right boring and offers nothing to the reader. The reader doesn’t give a hoot about you, your dogs, or your wife and kids. What the reader wants to know simply is: What’s Is In It For Me, that is if the content above it entices him/her to seek more information.

Resource boxes are not just some nice little addenda at the end of an article to say who YOU are. They are the best tool possible to tell the reader what do do next in a logical fashion and give them the reason why to do it.

So let’s think about the example above. It might be better to offer the reader a reason WHY by doing writing the article so that the resource box just flows along with the article and is not just dangling out there at the end.

Last words of the article.” I hope this helps you in your quest to train your dog to do the things you want”…

Then, you would flow your message into your resource box : ” To get your dog to do what you want him to do I invite you to visit ” Your Dog Too” where you can get the e-book “The Trainers Guide to Dog Behaviour” as my free gift to you so you too can enjoy the success I have found. Pretty soon your dog too will be able to do tricks and amaze you and your friends.”

Doesn’t that seem more appealing and provide the answer to the questions your reader had and encourage him/her to click through onto your site with the promise of more, or what is described as “an ethical bribe”?

I would like to answer any questions you have about article marketing. I invite you to visit Article Marketing Questions. Ask your question and I will send you a link for your free audio interview on Article Marketing Secrets which you can listen to at your leisure.
